Prayer is a song that comes from your heart to your lips without thinking about it first. Speech is something that comes from the head to the lips after considering its potential impact or reception. To speak directly from the heart to the lips without thining about it is a prayer. I recently attended the International Metaphysical Ministers convention in Sedona, Arizona. One of the 18 speakers told about the time she attended a Catholic school and was constantly being "encouraged" by one of the nuns to prayer better. She went to another nun, who seemed more receptive to her questions, and asked, "What is the perfect prayer?" The answer that she shared with us became my "ahah" for the convention. The nun said, "Your life is your prayer."
